All I Really, Really Want
February 2nd, 2007One of my favorite writers is Paul D. Lehrman – MIX magazine. Paul’s essay in the December 2006 issue hit home for me – big time. If you haven’t read it, he muses about what he wants from Santa this year – and after two pages of reminiscing about what he’s asked for in the past – and received – he realizes that he has so much stuff that he can’t find the time use it! In the end he asks for the gift of TIME – time to spend doing what he set out to do years ago – MAKING MUSIC.
If you are a musician (player – writer) isn’t that what you really want to spend your time doing? Here at UpScale Music we talk to many musicians who express the same feelings – they want to focus their time on making music not on messing with gear and software.
That’s not to say that messing with gear and software isn’t fun too – for some it is (we love to) but it needn’t detract from your time to create your art.
That’s exactly where UpScale Music can assist you – the musician.
If you’re thinking about putting together a home project studio but not sure what to do – give us a call. We’ll talk to you about your needs and help guide you with equipment and software selection, help you set it up and give you a quick start session to get you going.
Whatever your needs are, from a simple yet flexible rig to a full featured studio – we can assist. All it takes is a phone call or an email – we’re here!
